Two-Factor Authentication Instructions

  • What is Two-Factor Authentication

    One of the most secure password protection products currently available, it uses time-synchronized two-factor password technology with a security mechanism that automatically updates the dynamic password every 60 seconds. Static password + dynamic password Two-Factor Authentication is more secure — even if someone steals your password, they cannot log in to your account, maximizing the security of your account data.

    You can use the Two-Factor Authentication feature in this software. To enable this feature, you must first download the mobile client.

  • How to enable Two-Factor Authentication

    1. Download the mobile client, and log in using your email account;
    2. Log in to your webmail, click "Avatar" - "Personal Settings" - "Security Settings" - "Two-Factor Authentication Settings";
    3. Click "APP Authorization" - Next;
    4. Open your mobile client, and tap "Scan" in the "+" menu in the upper right corner of the homepage;

    After completing the above four steps, you have successfully enabled Two-Factor Authentication.

  • Verification code generated by the mobile client is incorrect

    This may be because the time on your phone is inaccurate. Since the verification code is generated based on Beijing time, if the difference between your phone's time and Beijing time exceeds 2 minutes, the verification code will be invalid. Please adjust your phone's time via System Settings - Time, or use automatic time zone to ensure the accuracy of the verification code;

  • Log in via Two-Factor Authentication

    1. Please visit the login page first and enter your username and password as usual;
    2. After verifying your password, the system will ask you to enter the six-digit verification code received on your phone;
    3. When entering the verification code, you can choose to trust your computer. After that, you will not need to enter the verification code again when logging in from this computer. You can view and manage authorized devices in your email - Security Settings - Trusted Device Management;
    4. When you log in to the software, your phone will receive a push notification. Simply tap "Confirm Authorization" on the verification page to complete the verification login without entering the six-digit verification code again;
  • Disable Two-Factor Authentication

    Disabling Two-Factor Authentication lowers the security level of your account and password. After disabling Two-Factor Authentication, you will no longer need to enter a six-digit verification code when logging in to your email.

    1. Log in to your webmail, click Avatar - Personal Settings - Security Settings - Two-Factor Authentication Settings;
    2. Click "Delete" in APP Authorization;
    3. Open your mobile client and tap Confirm Authorization.

Please note that deleting the bound account directly in the mobile client will not disable Two-Factor Authentication. Please make sure you have disabled Two-Factor Authentication before deleting the bound account or uninstalling the mobile client;
