Why can't the mailbox send emails or fails to send emails?

  1. Pop-up prompt "FA-MTA-REJECTED"

Because it is suspected of sending spam/virus emails, the system has temporarily frozen the account's sending function. Please log in to webmail and try to send an email, and then follow the prompts in the pop-up window when sending to unfreeze your account.

  1. Pop-up prompt "Traffic exceeds limit" or "Fetch volume limit exceed"

(1) The number of recipients/ccs/bccs exceeds the server limit. It is recommended to send in multiple batches. (2) When obtaining NetEase mailbox emails through IMAP, there is a certain traffic limit every day. After the traffic is exceeded, the server cannot be synchronized that day.

  1. I could send emails normally before, but suddenly it says that I can't send emails.

If the account could send emails normally in the client before, it is likely that the mail server is temporarily unstable. It is recommended that you try again later.

  1. Why does it prompt an unknown error when sending emails?

The current mail server may be unstable. Please restart the client and try sending emails.

  1. The webmail POP/IMAP function is not activated, or the email account settings are incorrect.

(1) Please log in to webmail and confirm that the POP\IMAP function is activated (QQ, SINA and other mailboxes need to be manually activated) QQ Mail: After logging in, select "Settings", enter the "Account" page, enable the POP3/IMAP/SMTP service, and save the changes. Sina Mail: After logging in, select "Settings", enter the "Account" page, enable POP3/SMTP, IMAP4/SMTP services, and save changes;

(2) If you still cannot receive emails after activation, please try to change the username to a complete email address in "Mailbox Settings - Account Settings", that is, add the @ suffix (if the @ suffix is already included by default, try deleting @ and the characters after it);

(3) If you still cannot receive emails after the above operations, please contact your mail administrator to confirm that the receiving server settings are correct.
